Valley of Eden

‘During my two-month hitchhiking trip across Central Asia, the Pamir Mountains stole my heart. In the Wakhan corridor, I stood in front of the Engels Glacier, surrounded by grazing cows and caught in a golden light that transformed the landscape into a stage set. It was a divine moment on the roof of the world.’
Some authors refer to the Pamir as the Biblical Eden and Mount Ararat, where Noah is said to have set foot after the Flood.
